FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is an advanced hair transplant technique in which individual hair follicles are harvested directly from the donor area, typically the back of the head. In contrast to the FUT method, in which a strip of skin is removed, in FUE the hair follicles are extracted individually using a small instrument called a punch. The extracted hair follicles are then prepared and implanted into the recipient area to stimulate hair growth. FUE is a gentle method that does not leave linear scars and is therefore particularly suitable for patients who have short hair or for whom scarring should be avoided.
